Contact enquiries
When you use the contact form, the information you provide, including your name, email address, enquiry type and message, is sent through Formspree and used only to respond to your enquiry and maintain appropriate business records.
Newsletter interest list
If you join the interest list for Notes from an African Entrepreneur, your email address, optional name and consent are sent through Formspree. They are used to contact you about the newsletter launch and to ask you to confirm a subscription. An interest-list request is not an active newsletter subscription. We will ask you to confirm before adding you to a mailing service.
You can withdraw your request at any time by emailing info@brm-global.com. Your details will not be used for unrelated marketing. If you confirm a subscription after launch, each newsletter will include a way to unsubscribe.
Spam protection
The contact and newsletter interest forms use Google reCAPTCHA and Formspree spam filtering to distinguish genuine enquiries from automated submissions. These services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and interaction signals for security and fraud prevention.
Website analytics
This website may use Google Analytics to understand general website usage, such as pages visited, approximate location, device type and referral source. This information helps improve the website and is not used to identify you personally.
Service providers
The website is hosted by Vercel, articles are managed through Sanity, contact submissions are processed by Formspree, and analytics and spam protection may be provided by Google. These providers process limited information according to their respective privacy terms.
How long information is kept
Contact information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records and meet applicable legal obligations. Analytics retention is controlled through the Google Analytics account settings.
Your choices
You may use browser controls or privacy extensions to limit analytics cookies. You may also request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information submitted through the contact form, subject to applicable legal requirements.
